i adored EVERYTHING about this Hotel. my tiwa beautiful room boat & tuk tuk transfer felt so grand. the free boat SHUTTLE service was very useful for visiting nearby attractions. the staff, well, they are KIND and attentive.

The hotel, while new, felt a little sterile. the absence of local touches was notable. I looked for a richer cultural experience. also, i wanted to know i was really in the area, i wished for a stronger sense of place in my room. the fitness center was small with limited free WEIGHTS equipment.

the bathroom was spacious. i mean, it was acceptable.

my room was allegedly a "tiwa beautiful room boat & tuk tuk transfer" but it felt more like a standard prison cell. the air conditioning sounded like a jet engine, and i couldn't adjust it. the lighting was so dim in the shower i nearly mistook my shampoo for conditioner, a tragedy i barely avoided.
